Notification from Johns Hopkins Bayview Communications:

At recent Johns Hopkins Bayview Town Hall meetings, held in response to the Baltimore City unrest this past April, many employees expressed a desire in finding ways to help our neighbors in the community. Since that time, we have identified two organizations that need our assistance in providing school supplies to underserved children. All items collected during this drive will be shared between Centro Sol and the Boys and Girls Club at O’Donnell Heights

Centro Sol is a Johns Hopkins program that works to improve the health and accessibility of health care to the Latino community. The Boys and Girls Club at O’Donnell Heights helps children in need, including those living in single parent homes, growing up in poverty and coping with parental incarceration.

If you’d like to support the School Supply Drive, please drop your donations off by Wednesday, August 19. A list of suggested donations is below. There are two drop off locations: Volunteer Services, BMO main level (between 8 a.m. and 5 p.m.) and the Community Relations office, Mason F. Lord Building, Center Tower, Suite 1200 (between 8 a.m. and 4:30 p.m.).

Thank you in advance for your generosity and participation in helping local children go back to school, ready to learn.

Please consider some of these items:
