Research Services

We all know that our community is integrated by strong members who can overcome any challenge. They are becoming leaders representing their families and their neighbors in pro of their health as partners with experienced providers at Johns Hopkins. This week, our community members took part of a Workshop titled “Teaching Learners to Communicate Effectively with Limited English Proficiency Patients” at “SOM Education Conference from Institute for Excellence in Education (IEE) “. This workshop was put together by the Johns Hopkins International – Interpretation Services and Centro SOL, led by Dr. Kathleen Page, and our community members played an important role. The workshop was well received by experienced physicians that said ” It was fantastic [..]the best workshop [I have] ever attended”! And now they are being part of the casting of an educational video about HIV for Spanish speakers.
We are proud of our community.
