Project Title
RAPID‐Baltimore ‐ Rapid Access to Infectious Disease Information for Baltimore
Project Summary
RAPID is a data‐light mobile‐accessible application that centralizes links to non‐English COVID‐19 information to increase information and awareness among Baltimore City residents. RAPID‐Baltimore will act as conduit between the user and existing resources (e.g. alerts form state and local health departments, government orders, health education material, fighting myths and misinformation) ensuring that users are accessing up‐to-date information in real time.
This project is a multidisciplinary collaboration with Centro SOL, Johns Hopkins School of Medicine, Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health, and the Johns Hopkins School of Engineering.
The project was funded by a seed grant by the Johns Hopkins Alliance for a Healthier World in 2020.
