Centro SOL has celebrated this month with different events connecting Johns Hopkins and the community, and recognizing the volunteer service from students, staff and faculty with the Centro SOL Community Service Award. In 2016 we are launching the Hispanic Heritage Month Series, an outline of different events to highlight the presence of the Latino community and promote diversity and inclusion at John Hopkins and beyond. This year we are being supported by the Johns Hopkins Diversity Leadership Council, and partnering with JHU Office of Multicultural Affairs, JHU Medical Student Senate, Arts in Medicine Society, Latino Medical Student Association, Latino Public Health Network.
