We are delighted to be a Baltimore Corps Visionary Cause Leader, thanks to the leadership and hard-work of our co-Director Dr. Sarah Polk. Centro SOL has joined a list of organizations “building solutions to Baltimore’s most pressing challenges”.
Isabel Fernandez Abaunza, Baltimore Corps Fellow, has joined us to support our mission, and strengthen the work that is being done by the Health Policy Workgroup at Centro SOL, in partnership with the Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health and other organizations, working to improve healthcare access for Latinos.

I was born in Guadalajara, México and I have dedicated my life to Education in different environments. I´ve always worked with groups of people because I believe they make this world turn, so the constant communication with them, learning from them, and serving them, has been an amazing experience every time.

I really enjoy learning new things everyday and sharing all the things that will help improve people´s life.

In my free time I love watching movies, traveling and spending time with my family.
