This past summer, we received a new team member, Kassandra Quintanilla, this young Latina original from Maryland, graduated from Johns Hopkins University with a Bachelor of Arts in Biology, and now she is preparing her path to medicine.
Hi! My name is Kassandra Quintanilla, but I like to be called Kitty. I’m 22 years old, and my family is Salvadoran. I’m here working with Dr. Lisa DeCamp for her research, as a way for me to gain experience in working with patients and doctors in a clinic. I want to become a doctor and help the Latino community, so I hope that being here at Centro SOL will help me achieve my goals. I’m very glad for the chance to work here with everyone at Johns Hopkins!
Hola! Mi nombre es Kassandra Quintanilla, pero me puedes llamar Kitty! Tengo 22 años, y mi familia es de El Salvador. Estoy aquí trabajando con la Dra.
