Youth Advisory Board

The Youth Advisory Board (YAB) is comprised of patients of the pediatric clinic at Bayview (Yard56) who receive medical care at the pediatric center.

Monthly council meetings allow members to share their experiences, opinions, and vision for improving healthcare for children and youth in Baltimore. At each meeting, the council includes physicians and clinic staff, as well as researchers and other healthcare teams seeking input for community inclusion in institutional decision-making.

The Youth Council was established by Dr. Sarah Polk and Dr. Keith Martin.
