Beyond the Bedside: Bringing Art to Medicine for Immigrant Advocacy and Hope
The Center for Health/Salud and Opportunity for Latines (Centro SOL) and the Refugee Health & Asylum Collaborative (HEAL) present this year’s conference to celebrate Baltimore’s pioneers, legacy of discovery, and its commitment to the City. Beyond the Bedside will convene Hopkins’ faculty, national experts, and community advocates to discuss how the stories integral to healthcare can be shared with the public through art as a means of advocacy. Sharing stories honors the relationship between provider and patient and provides hope for both.
