Our colleague Doris Valenzuela-Araujo, Research Assistant of Pediatrics at Johns Hopkins Bayview, and Centro SOL, received one of the awards to the best poster for “Salud al Día” project. This is a recognition to the contributions made by our Latino Family Advisory Board. Gracias a todos los miembros del consejo por su apoyo y participación continuos. And thank you to our colleague researcher Alizay Jalisi, undergraduate student at Johns Hopkins University for her collaboration and hard work to support and improve our “Testimonios” program. These two young researchers are an inspiration for the future of medicine. Join us to send them best wishes for their endeavors!
We would like to formally thank everyone for their enthusiastic participation in the 10th Annual Bayview Research Symposium. With 155 poster entries, it was the largest symposium yet.
Dr. Nadia Hansel and I would also like to announce the winning poster submissions. The two posters receiving the greatest number of votes at this year’s symposium were:
· Mathias, Brandon; Douglass, Lauren; Langmead, Mark; Sperduto, Arielle; Smith, Amy; Davies, Gemma; Robertson, Scott; Anderson, Lori; Hales, Russell; Voong, Ranh; Han-Oh, Sarah.
